While translating Cullen’s Materia Medica he came across a sentence, ‘Cinchona Bark has the capacity to cure  Ague (now it termed as Malaria fever. In Allopathy Alkaloids of Cinchona Bark Chloroquine and Quinine  had been using  as antimalarial drug) and if it given  to  healthy person then it can produce the same symptoms of Ague (Malaria).
