How to enhance male fertility

Is it too late since your marriage and you are not able to give birth to a baby? This can be due to many reasons. One of the reasons behind this can be the infertility in either of the partners. Infertility among men means the inability in men to cause pregnancy to a female who is fertile. Infertility in men is mainly due to deficiency of semen or deficiency to produce sperms. According to a report, 30 percent couples are not able to produce their offspring due to infertility in men. So, if you want a healthy baby, you should work on your shortcomings. There are many ways to make healthy sperms.

Few ways to increase the production of sperms are listed below:-

  1. Take care of your diet :-
    What you eat is has an impact in the quality of your sperm. Eat variety of food which includes wholegrain and starchy food, proteins and lots of fruits and vegetables. Have a nutritious meal. Nutritious food includes oily fish, meat, and breakfast cereals. Have vegetables such as broccolis, sprouts and spinaches.
  2. Maintain your weight :-
    Weight should be maintained in order to keep your sperm in good condition. It can be done by having a balanced and healthy diet and regular exercise. Being overweight degrades the quality of your sperm.
  3. Avoid smoking and consumption of alcohol :-
    Excessive drinking impairs your ability to produce sperms. Even smoking cigarettes can damage your sperms. These can also change the shape and size of your sperm. The sperm will not be able to grow properly.
  4. Practice safe sex :-
    Avoid having sex with more number of partners and use condoms while having sex. Having sex with an infectious partner will affect you and also your sperms.
  5. Avoid stress :-
    Stress can decrease your desire to have sex. It also prevents your hormones from producing sperms. Try and relax yourself by having fun with your friends and your spouse.
  6. Cut down use of plastic :-
    Plastic can be another reason behind your fertility. Try to be less exposed to plastics. Use glass instead of plastics.
  7. Use loose underwear :-
    Try wearing loose fitting underwear since fitting underwear suppress the production of sperms. If you avoid fitting underwear or even no underwear at times, it will improve your sperm count.
  8. Do some physical work :-
    Daily exercise increases the rate of formation of sperms. But exercise should also be within a limit. Excessive exercise depletes the vitamins of your body.
  9. Have caffeine and tea :-
    Having caffeine and tea helps in the production of good quality sperms. Men who are habituated to drinking coffee and tea have sperms with good motility.
  10. Use sunscreen carefully:-
    Men exposed to ultraviolet filters present in the sunscreens also do not possess a good quality sperm. So cut down the use of products with UV filters.
  11. Avoid junk food :-
    Having fast food can affect your sperm count. Your body cannot recognize your diet and it utilizes the stored nutrients of your body. These nutrients could be useful for sperm production.
  12. Have seeds as they are full of nutrients :-
    Seeds and nuts are filled with nutrients like zinc and selenium. These nutrients are helpful to increase sperm count. It also improves the quality and motility of the sperms.
